Site Map in NEXT
The Site Map is an extension of the Site Grid, providing a visual, map-based way to explore the same set of sites you see in the grid. The map can be accessed with the map icon on the top right of the grid.
It uses a standard Google Map interface, allowing you to zoom and pan to explore sites geographically while retaining all the powerful filtering capabilities of the Site Grid.
Navigating the Site Map
The Site Map supports familiar map interactions:
-
Zoom in and out to view sites at different geographic levels
-
Pan across the map to explore regions and areas of interest
Each site is represented by a pin on the map.
Clicking on a pin will take you directly to the associated site record.
Searching & Filtering Sites
At the top of the Site Map, you can search and filter sites using the same logic as the Site Grid.
Available options include:
-
Search by Site Name
-
Filter by Concept
-
Filter by Site Status
-
Filter by Company
-
Filter by Country
-
Filter by Site Type
You can also perform a radius search by entering a distance value and a reference address to display all sites within a specific geographic radius.
All filters can be combined to narrow results as needed.

Filter Persistence Between Site Map & Site Grid
Filters applied on the Site Map persist when navigating back to the Site Grid.
This means that after filtering sites on the map — including radius-based searches — you can return to the Site Grid and:
-
View the same filtered set of sites
-
Export those sites
-
Review additional site details based on your configured grid columns
This makes it easy to move seamlessly between visual exploration and detailed data analysis.
