Restoring Units

SiteZeus is a powerful project management tool that helps teams collaborate effectively and manage their tasks efficiently. However, it's not uncommon for users to put units on hold or delete them unintentionally. The good news is that SiteZeus provides functionality to restore units marked as 'on hold' and recover deleted units. In this support article, we will guide you through the step-by-step process to restore units marked as 'on hold' and recover deleted units, ensuring you can retrieve valuable project data in SiteZeus.

Restoring Units Marked as 'On Hold'

Sometimes, during the course of a project, you may need to put a unit on hold temporarily. SiteZeus allows you to mark units as 'On Hold,' enabling you to focus on other tasks without losing track of important work. To restore units marked as 'On Hold,' follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports in the navigation bar.

  2. Select the 'Units on Hold' Report

3. Locate the unit you wish to restore and click the 'Restore' button on the far right.

Restoring Units Marked as 'Dead'

In addition to marking units as 'On Hold,' SiteZeus also offers the option to mark units as 'Dead.' This status is typically used to indicate that a unit is no longer relevant or has been abandoned. However, there may be instances where you realize that a 'dead' unit needs to be revived. To restore units marked as 'Dead,' follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports in the navigation bar.

  2. Select the 'Dead Units' Report

3. Locate the unit you wish to restore and click the 'Restore' button on the far right.

Restoring Deleted Units

Accidental deletion of units can be a frustrating experience, but SiteZeus provides a way to recover them. Here's how you can recover deleted units:

  1. Navigate to Reports in the navigation bar.

  2. Select the 'Dead Units' Report

3. Locate the unit you wish to restore and click the 'Restore' button on the far right.
