Ownership

This widget displays ownership details for a site, including any associated franchise agreements providing clear visibility into who owns the site and how ownership is structured over time.

You can associate a company with a site by selecting Add Ownership and selecting the desired company. You will also be asked to record the date the ownership began. Once a company is assigned, you can also associate an available franchise agreement with that company, if applicable. For more information on creating and managing agreements on a Company, check out this article. If there is a company already associated, but you can click ‘Change Ownership’ to changeover the ownership to the new entity. 

Any changes made to site ownership are automatically recorded in the audit history, ensuring a complete and transparent history of ownership updates.

The Ownership widget helps maintain accurate ownership records and preserve a clear history of changes over time. By centralizing ownership details and franchise agreements at the site level, teams gain better visibility, improve compliance, and reduce confusion as sites move through the development lifecycle.
