We are thrilled to present the latest set of enhancements and features for SiteZeus that were rolled out in June 2023. These new functionalities are designed to streamline your workflow, improve project management, and boost overall productivity. Let's dive into the exciting updates:
1. 'Next Projects to Open' Widget Settings & Configurations
The 'Next Projects to Open' widget has received a major upgrade, allowing users to not only see more data, but also customize its settings and configurations. With this enhancement, you can now personalize the widget according to your preferences and workflow. Stay organized and ready to tackle the next tasks seamlessly with five new settings to make SiteZeus your own:

Visualize your variance with the new 'Deviation' column, which shows the number of days between the Planned Open Date and Estimated Open Date for units listed.

Optionally toggle whether the assigned Company and Primary Contact associated to that Company are shown on the widget.

The 'Tasks Not Done' column counts the number of timeline tasks with a status of 'Not Started', 'In Progress' or 'On Hold'. It does not include tasks marked as 'N/A'.

Utilize optional color coding to see project status at a glace. Green colored projects are more than 30 days ahead of schedule, projects with no color are on schedule, yellow colored projects are between 1-30 days behind schedule and red colored projects are more than 30 days behind schedule.

The 'Planned Dates' column is also fully removable if you prefer to focus on your 'Estimated Dates', which automatically update as tasks are marked completed.
These settings are Global, meaning they impact all users, and can be accessed under Administration>Settings>Miscellaneous Settings for Administrative Users.
2. Sales Timeline Automatically Assigned by Lead Status
To simplify your sales pipeline management, we have introduced an intelligent automation feature. The Sales Timeline can now be configured to automatically assign a specific timeline based on the lead status. Whether you're funneling your leads through an API or using email parsing, its now easier than ever to ensure your sales team is moving those leads through the proper pipeline, using varying timelines to streamline your system.
The mappings are constructed under Administration>Select Lists>Lead Status. When editing a status, select the default timeline to which they should be assigned:
It's important to remember that this list is populated by Active Master Timelines. Timelines can be activated or deactivated in Administration>Master Timelines. If you need to set up additional timelines for your leads, contact SiteZeus Support for assistance.
3. Actual Open/Completed Date on Development Report
With this update, we are introducing the highly requested 'Actual Open Date/Complete Date' field in the Development Report. Previously, 'Actual' dates were only available on specific timeline tasks, however, you can now see a completion date for the unit as a whole. This addition can be particularly helpful when attempting to identify how many ReOpens or Renovations were completed within a specific timeframe.
To add this column to your Development Report, navigate to 'Customize View' on the specific Development Report View you'd like to adjust. On the 'Columns' tab, move the 'Actual Open/Completion Date' from the left column set to the right. Make sure you click 'Save' at the bottom of the pop-up to keep your changes.
4. Configure Order of Timeline Date Columns on Projects and Sites
We understand that every team has unique preferences when it comes to data presentation. To cater to these specific needs, we have enhanced the flexibility of our Timeline Date Columns. You can now configure the order in which the date columns appear on projects and sites. By navigating to Administration>Settings>Unit Settings>Timeline Settings, you can now decide if SiteZeus will display timelines dates as 'Actual - Estimated - Planned' or 'Planned - Estimated - Actual'
