'Next Projects to Open' Widget

We’ve upgraded the 'Next Projects to Open' widget with five new customizable settings to streamline your workflow. Stay organized and track projects effortlessly. Here’s what’s new:

1. Visualize Variance with the 'Deviation' Column

The new 'Deviation' column is a powerful addition to the 'Next Projects to Open' widget. It displays the number of days between the Planned Open Date and Estimated Open Date for the listed units. This feature allows you to quickly identify any delays or early completions in your projects, giving you valuable insights into project timelines.

2. Show/Hide Assigned Company and Primary Contact

We understand that different users have different preferences when it comes to viewing project details. With this upgrade, you now have the option to toggle the display of the assigned Company and Primary Contact associated with that Company directly in the widget. This customization ensures that you only see the information that matters most to you.

3. Track 'Tasks Not Done' with the New Column

The 'Tasks Not Done' column is a dynamic addition to the widget, providing a count of timeline tasks with a status of 'Not Started,' 'In Progress,' or 'On Hold.' This count excludes tasks marked as 'N/A,' enabling you to focus on the active tasks that require your attention. Stay on top of your project progress effortlessly with this insightful feature.

4. Opt for Color Coding to Visualize Project Status

To facilitate a quick understanding of project status, we have introduced optional color coding in the 'Next Projects to Open' widget. Projects with no color are considered on schedule. Green colored projects are more than 30 days ahead of schedule, yellow colored projects are between 1-30 days behind schedule, and red colored projects are more than 30 days behind schedule. This visual representation allows you to assess project health at a glance and take timely actions as needed.

5. Customize Display with the Option to Remove 'Planned Dates' Column

For users who prefer to focus solely on 'Estimated Dates' to track project progress, we have made the 'Planned Dates' column fully removable. As tasks are marked as completed, the 'Estimated Dates' column automatically updates, ensuring you have the most relevant and up-to-date information at your fingertips.
