Email marketing is a powerful way to move leads and connect with potential franchisees. Here's a guide to setting up SiteZeus campaigns, which require pre-created 'Email Templates.'

Lead Campaigns
To start, navigate to Sales>Campaigns in the left navigation bar. Next, select '+New' in the top right corner of this page, which displays any campaigns already created:
Next, choose a name for your Campaign. This name is for internal identification purposes only, and will not be displayed to your campaign recipients.
On the right side of the page, select what type of Campaign you are setting up. There are two available options: Enrollment and Ad Hoc. An Ad Hoc campaign is a one-off email sent to a specific group of leads, while an enrollment email campaign is a series of automated emails sent to newly enrolled leads within SiteZeus. Both types of campaigns have their uses and can be effective in achieving different objectives.
Before you start creating your email campaign, it's important to define your target audience. Who are you trying to reach? What characteristics do they share? Once you have a clear understanding of your target audience, you can tailor your message to resonate with their needs and interests. For enrollment campaigns, you can set up specific enrollment mappings, meaning that only leads who meet your identified criteria will be enrolled in this campaign. We have mapping options for Concept/Brand, Sales Owner, Lead Source, Country, and State/Province. These options are not available for Ad-Hoc campaigns since there is no enrollment, those emails will only be sent one time to one singular set of individuals.
The next step is building your 'drip' campaign which includes selecting the initial email template, as well as follow-up email templates and their frequency. The initial email will be sent automatically when leads that meet your enrollment mapping criteria enter the system via API or lead parsing. Leads can also be manually enrolled in enrollment campaigns if the leads are added to SiteZeus manually.
The follow-up emails can be set to go out at a specific send-time of your choosing. You are also able to determine how many days after the initial email the follow-up emails will be sent. There is no limit to the number of follow-up emails you can include in an enrollment campaign. Emails can be easily removed by clicking the red 'X' under the 'Actions' column.
When a lead responds to an email in the campaign, the response will automatically go to the assigned Sales Owner. If one is not assigned, you can easily send replies to another contact within the 'Email Settings' box.
By default, SiteZeus campaigns come from a 'no-reply' email address, which, depending on the recipients spam filters or administrative settings, could potentially be rerouted to a spam or junk folder. However, we offer the option to change your campaigns to a 'friendly' email address, which is done through verification of your DNS records. Contact a SiteZeus Support Specialist to set up your options for friendly emails within SiteZeus.
When you're satisfied with your selections and ready to launch your campaign, select a Go-Live date. You can also choose to make this campaign your default enrollment campaign for leads entering the system in this area.
Make sure to click 'Save' at the bottom of the page to save and initiate your campaign:
In conclusion, setting up an email campaign for franchise leads can be a highly effective way to generate new business. By following these steps, you can create a targeted and personalized campaign that resonates with your audience and helps you achieve your business goals.
