SiteZeus is a powerful project management tool that allows businesses to streamline their processes and keep track of various aspects of their franchise development and operations. One key feature of SiteZeus is its ability to manage different locations, which are typically converted from projects in the platform as they move through the development pipeline. However, in some cases, you may need to add a new 'Location' that hasn't been converted from a project, such as during the implementation process, or in the case of an acquisition. In this support article, we will guide you through the process of adding a new 'Location' in SiteZeus for such scenarios.
Start by navigating to the 'Locations' tab. This is where you can view any Locations that have already been added to the system, both as individual Locations and as converted Projects.
In the top right corner of the page, click the '+New' button:
In the popup window that appears, enter the Location Name, associated Concept, Company/Primary Contact who will be listed as the owner of the unit, and the Location Open Date. These are the only required fields to add a new Location. On the other tabs, you can optionally provide Address information, Additional Details, or any Custom Data you have set up specific to Locations:
Once you've added all the information, click the green 'Create' or 'Create and View' buttons on the Custom Data tab to save your Location.
For any questions about adding a new Location to the system without having converted it from a Project, contact your SiteZeus Support Specialist using the in-app chat.
